All of the clients and communities that I have worked with have informed and transformed me, my relationship to my work, and the work itself. The communities I have been invited into in a supervisory and training capacity are diverse both in terms of cultures and the problems their work is organized around. I’ve had the honour to work alongside amazing groups of people including:

  • people of the Downtown Eastside
  • people with living experience
  • survivors of torture and political violence
  • activists and community organizers
  • harm reduction and overdose prevention workers
  • counsellors, therapists, and supervisors
  • frontline and shelter workers
  • queer, transgender and Two Spirit people
  • students and practitioners

I am committed to working with people who are subjected to social injustices and extreme marginalization.
