Mental Wellness and Community Collective Care in the Time Of Covid-19 Pandemic We know that 2020 has been a very tough year, and for some, sadly, it has been catastrophic. The usual ‘line’ between what our clients are experiencing and that which we are experiencing has become blurred. We are trying to keep our own concerns and fears under control as we help others who may be expressing the same concerns and fears that we are. COVID-19 has brought about suffering, hardship and oppression in situations we couldn’t have imagined months ago. It’s time to stop, and spend three hours with the internationally acclaimed Vikki Reynolds, as she offers insights into our collective way forward. Vikki will explore why we need to go deeper than the usual ‘self-care’ strategies, and look at ‘Community Collective Care’ and our ‘Mental Wellness’, considering cultural, spiritual, relational and community- based ways to collectively support ourselves and our communities.
