Riel Dupuis-Rossi a Two Spirit psychotherapist ofKanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), Algonquin, and Italian descent,and Vikki Reynolds, a white settler of Irish, Newfoundlandand English descent share their work decolonizingpsychological practices and centering Indigenousknowledges and resistance. They will addressprovocations and practices to disrupt current colonialpractices and structues that promote, uphold and furtherthe aims of ongoing and attempted genocide. They willoutline critical analysis of 'Trauma' that addressesresistance to oppression and suffering, and presentIndigenizing and decolonizing therapeutic approaches to'trauma', highlighting the connective power of politicizing'trauma'. They will also address thier strained, hard, unequaland spirited intentions for walking alongside each other inthis work, resisting the euphemistic label of 'partnership'that disappears the struggle and structural impossibilitiesof valid partnership until issues of land return and repair ofgenocide and ending multiole ongoing transgressions is alived reality.
